About Us
US Lime Company — St. Clair operates an underground mine to supply high-quality limestone for the plant to produce lime and pulverized limestone. The plant produces quicklime on two rotary kilns, one of which is a preheater with a combined annual capacity of approximately 180 thousand tons. The plant also has the ability to produce hydrated lime that can be shipped in bulk or supersack. The annual production capacity of pulverized limestone is 150 thousand tons and the plant is serviced by the KCS railroad.
